Three-quarters of a century old

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be 75 years old. That was my mother’s age when my late husband and I took her to the Blarney Stone with her friend Ben. Well Saturday Ken took a friend and me to the Blarney Stone for my 75th birthday. We had a good dinner but didn’t stay for the entertainment. When we took Mom and Ben we made sure we were there for the entertainment and had a special birthday cake. When the waitress brought the cake it had a sparkling candle on it and they sang happy birthday to her.   Ken and Mary sang happy birthday to me.

I’ve been editing and sending submissions to publishers.  I sent Angel of Mercy to an agent a few days ago. I hope she will accept it and find a publisher for it I’ve sent Longshot Island a few they have accepted one short story and I just sent another today about the discovery of Cow Pox in regards to helping cure Small Pox.
